Building a Forecast System for world largest electronic giant

The project commenced in October 2007 and right from the start, DMA knew it is a daunting task. The system is a forecasting sytem for the electronic division to predict the sales volume, purchase quantity and inventory levels on a monthly basis. It calls for integration with SAP and Hyperion. The system involves complex business forecast logics with precisions.

This project is a collaboration with IBM Software Services Team in HK.

The system is built upon IBM WebSphere technology, with Oracle repository.

Despite the system complexity, the project was successfully completed in March 2009.
